There was more success for Brass Sounds Inverclyde at the weekend, as three members of our band took part in the Scottish Brass Band Associations 2022 Solo and Ensembles finals in Glasgow.
Firstly, our MD Joshua Parkhill, representing his band, Dalmellington Brass Band, took the 1st place spot in The Youth Solos Section.
Isaac Parkhill, our Solo Euphonium, made it a family occasion at the top and finished 2nd place in The Youth Solos Section.
Finally, Andrea Crumlish, our Solo Horn player, (3rd from left in photograph below) finished the successful line-up by being awarded a Gold Award in The Intermediate Solos Section for her rendition of 'Variations on a Welsh Theme', when representing Riverside Youth Band.
Congratulations to the three of you and, what a way to cap off a fantastic month for the band!
